(MOBILE, Ala.)  It appears a major push is underway to get a more mature crowd into downtown Mobile.

The owners of two new restaurants say they're right on time.

Loda Bier Garten is taking over the old HopJacks location. It's a German-themed Sports Bar and Grill.

They will feature 150 different types of beers, even an 80's themed second level.

Catt's Avalon 360 prides itself on its live jazz music, the food selection is catered for a grown up crowd.

Both business owners say the move to lure-in adults to downtown Mobile is long overdue.

"To get adults to come to any place, we need to have something that attracts us," says Catt Sirten, Co-Owner of Catt's Avalon 360.

"Right now, we've got about 2500 residents who live downtown, it takes businesses opening up to give people a reason to live down here," says Matthew Golden, Co-Owner of Loda Bier Garten.

Avalon 360 is open Wednesday through Sunday.

Loda Bier Garten opens next month.
