(ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla.) - A man in Escambia County, FL is behind bars for shooting a woman in the face.
It happened at a home on Laventana Circle in Pensacola on Friday.
When deputies arrived, investigators say they found James Thompson leaning over a woman's body. She had been shot in the face.
Investigators determined Thompson was the shooter.
He has been charged with first degree pre-meditated murder.
The woman's name has not been released.
