(MOBILE, Ala.) Investigators are hoping cell phone records will shed new light on the whereabouts of missing teen Brittney Wood. Wood was last seen leaving her home in the Tillman's Corner area May 30.
Friends and family have reported her cell phone was turned on and ringing six days after she was last seen.
"I met with investigators today and they were still poring over those and trying to pinpoint each one of those calls," says Brad Dennis, who is heading up the ground search. "Every time her phone received something it was pinging against the tower."
Family members tell Local 15 News they are still waiting to hear what, if anything, investigators have learned from those phone records.
Meanwhile, Mobile Police are still asking people who know anything about Brittney's disappearance to come forward.
If you have any information on Wood's whereabouts, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously at 208-7000.
