(PENSACOLA, Fla.) An active-duty Airman out of Eglin Air Force Base was killed during a training exercise.
It happened at the Naval Air Force Station in Pensacola, Florida last Thursday.
Major Garrett Knowlan died while participating in a water survival course.
Major Knowlan was the executive officer for Brig. Gen. David Harris, 96th Test Wing Commander.
He was also a 2002 graduate of the Air Force Academy and a 2010 graduate of the USAF Test Pilot School.
The accident is currently under investigation.
