MIAMI (AP) - Officials say no injuries have been reported after a small plane plunged into the waters off South Florida.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the Cessna aircraft had four people on board when it crashed Sunday afternoon into the waters roughly 2 miles off Key Largo.
Coast Guard Petty Officer Jon-Paul Rios tells The Miami Herald that the plane went down in Biscayne Bay within view of a Homestead park.
Rios says the four people on board were rescued. They suffered minor injuries.
The plane was flying from Hollywood to Key West. FAA officials say the plane lost power in its rear engine.
