The UTV44 High School Game of the Week presented by Whataburger heads down Old Shell Road for the 5A Region 1 match up between the Vigor Wolves and the St. Paul’s Saints.
Vigor is coming off a region loss at home to Spanish Fort and now they must go on the road to face the Saints. Vigor’s offense is averaging 25.7 points per game which is lead by junior quarterback Devin Adams. The Wolves defense is giving up an average of 14.9 points per game.
Saints head coach Steve Mask is looking to stay undefeated in region play. Their offense, lead by senior quarterback Bradley Padgett, is averaging 34.1 points per game. Tre Williams leads a stingy defense that is only giving up 10.3 points per game.
Vigor is looking avenge their 10-8 loss to the Saints from last year and keep themselves in the mix at the top of Region 1.
A Saints win will get St. Paul’s closer to their 3rd straight Region 1 Championship.
Kickoff is Friday at 7pm and replay on Saturday at 7pm only on UTV44.
