The UTV44 High School Game of the Week presented by Subway heads to Cooper Stadium for the “Battle of Old Shell Road” between the St. Paul’s Saints vs. UMS-Wright Bulldogs.
Last year’s game ended with a last second field goal by St. Paul’s to win 31-28.
St. Paul’s, the 5A Region 1 champs, have one four in a row since last losing to Fairhope. They come into this game averaging 37.9 points a game and only giving up 12.7 a game.
UMS comes into this game having won two in a row since last losing to Thomasville in a close game. UMS averages 32.2 points a game while only giving up 17.6 points a game.
UMS has the overall lead in the series with a 17-15 record vs. St. Paul’s.
Kickoff is Friday at 7pm and replay on Saturday at 7pm only on UTV44.
