UTV 44 would like to recognize the Scholastic Athlete for Week #6
For the St Paul’s Saints, Carter Albrecht is a Senior with a 4.2 GPA. He has been class president for his 10th,
11th and 12th grade years. Carter is in the National honor Society and is also an AP Scholar.
He is he captain of the soccer team in which he also played in the North-South All-Star game along with being a member of the basketball team.
For the Spanish Fort Toros, Shannon Paaymans is a Senior with a 4.34 GPA. She is currently ranked
#1 in her class. Shannon is pursuing Spanish Fort’s most rigorous academic curriculum, College Predatory
Diploma with Distinctions. She is a member of the soccer team which was State Runner’s ups in 2010 and State
Champions in 2011. She was also named to the Baldwin County All County team. Shannon is
also a member of the volleyball team where she was named Defensive Player of the Year for 2011 & 2012 along with being a member of the Baldwin County All County team and the South All Star squad. Some of her other activities include the Spanish Club, a vacation bible school volunteer and a part of the Agape Hand Puppet Ministry for Spanish Fort United
Methodist Church.
