WEATHER SUMMARY
Although the weather will be above seasonal readings today with highs in the low 80s (we should typically top in the upper 70s), this warm-up won't last long. Some much cooler air is set to blast in by the end of the weekend. For the next several days we will keep the status quo with pleasant sunshine, however highs will get nudged up a little bit into the mid 80s for Thursday and Friday.
Our pattern changes this weekend as a cold front approaches on Saturday. A few splash and dash showers are possible with this fast-moving system, but a widespread rain event is unlikely. In it's wake, expect brisk winds to usher in much cooler air. Highs will work hard to reach the mid 70s on Saturday and by Sunday we'll hover around 70. Wake up temperatures will be chilly with lows around 50 Sunday morning and then by Monday morning we'll sink into the low 40s. Get the jackets ready! We'll continue to fine tune the forecast as the weekend gets closer.
