The forecast for the weekend looks more like spring or early summer. Partly cloudy, warm days and mild nights will be the rule though Sunday. Temperatures will reach the 80s Saturday and Sunday afternoon.  A few more clouds are expected by Sunday as a cold front approaches the area. This front will bring a chance of showers and return to cooler weather to start next week. At this time, the best chance for rain will begin late Sunday and continue through Tuesday morning as the front slowly makes its way across the Gulf Coast.

North winds behind the front will drop the temperatures and humidity, with highs only in the 70s for Monday through Thursday. The coolest mornings will be Wednesday and Thursday morning with high pressure centered on top of the area. Low to mid 40s will be common. Warmer weather returns as the high moves east of the region by Thursday into Friday of next week.
