WEATHER SUMMARY

It's going to remain unseasonably warm over the next few days before strong to severe storms arrive on Wednesday.  For now, we're stuck in a warm pattern with rain free conditions, with partly cloudy skies overhead.  Afternoon readings will hit the mid 70s during the heart of the afternoon.  High pressure continues to dominate providing an onshore flow out of the Gulf.  Overnight as winds relax more thick fog is expected.  We wake up Tuesday in the upper 50s north of town, low 60s in Mobile.  Skies become mostly cloudy by the afternoon with a 30% chance of wet weather.

By Wednesday, a strong front approaches the region with strong storms developing out ahead it.  Some may ramp up to severe limits, right now the Storm Prediction Center has our area under a slight risk of severe storms so we'll continue to watch that threat.  Improving conditions come into the picture on Thursday as the front shifts east.  Much colder air will spill into our area in the wake of the front, with 30s expected by Thursday morning.  At this point, the upcoming weekend looks dry with average temps.
