A cold front has made its way into our region...affiliated with an upper level trough of low pressure. So, expect unsettled weather today with a chance for periodic showers thru the afternoon. When it's not raining, it'll be mainly cloudy...muggy...and warm with highs reaching the low 70s.
The front will stall to our north & west, and then it'll fizzle...leaving our area in a warm/muggy atmosphere. So, temperatures won't be cooling down...instead, they'll be going up. Highs rebound into the mid 70s for Thursday, with upper 70s expected by the weekend.
Higher rain chances are expected Sunday into Monday as another cold front moves into our area. This front looks to be a bit stronger, so cooler weather should filter into the Gulf Coast in its wake. Therefore, make sure you enjoy the warm weather this weekend...cause the chill will return for next week.
HAPPY HUMP DAY!
