WEATHER SUMMARY

A few patches of light rain will move through the area early today with temperatures sliding into the 50s as we head through the afternoon.  Clouds remain overhead tonight but they won't be rain producers.  Overnight lows are set to plunge into the upper 30s north of town, and hover around 40 in dowtown Mobile.  Plan on a sunny Valentine's Day with daytime highs in the mid 60s.

The rest of the workweek looks nice and calm with maximum readings in the 60s with wake up numbers in the 30s and 40s. An Arctic front swings through the Gulf Coast this weekend, causing temps to take a nosedive.  We fall into the sub-freezing Sunday morning with upper 20s inland and 30 degrees in town.  Moderating temps return early next week as highs bounce back into the mid to upper 60s, then wet weather returns by Tuesday.
