WEATHER SUMMARY
Abundant sunshine will prevail across the region making for a wonderful Gulf Coast Thanksgiving. The quiet weather that we're all so thankful for will continue into Black Friday. Daytime highs will peak today and tomorrow in the mid 70s. An approaching cold front is going to cause a major temperature swing as it heads into our area late tomorrow. Saturday morning we'll wake up in the mid 40s with afternoon highs significantly cooler in the low 60s. A freeze is possible Saturday night into Sunday for a large chunk of our viewing area as minimum readings fall to 26 degrees along our extreme inland fringes, with temps right around freezing as far south as I-10.
Don't forget about those sensitive outdoor plants. Thunderstorm action is not out of the question ahead of our next cold front that arrives Monday night into Tuesday. At this time, they are expected to remain below severe limits due to limited instability. In it's wake cooler air will follow for the middle of next week.
