WEATHER SUMMARY
The second half of the weekend promises more quiet weather with a few additional high clouds by late day. Afternoon readings will top in the mid 80s, which is about 5 degrees above average for this time of year. An approaching cold front sails through the area on Monday bringing a 30% chance of showers and storms. So, don't forget to dig those umbrellas out of the closet early next week and dust them off, we've barely used them so far this month!
Once the front exits late Monday, some cooler readings will follow. By Tuesday and Wednesday daytime highs will struggle to reach the upper 70s. Wake up temps will dip into the 50s. A second front arrives late Wednesday into Thursday morning bringing a more substantial rain threat to the region. The wet weather doesn't last long as the storm system exits late Thursday, sunshine is prepared to move in for Friday and Saturday. Temps will hold in the upper 70s for highs and mid 50s for lows, Friday into next weekend.
