WEATHER SUMMARY

A long dry spell is in store, so throw that umbrella in the back corner of your closet!  You won't need it for quite a while!  Welcome sunshine moves in today and will hold throughout the upcoming weekend.  It's going to be windy today as well, we currently have a WIND ADVISORY in effect until 6pm, as west/southwesterly winds will gust up to 35mph at times.  Afternoon readings will reach the mid 60s during the heart of the afternoon, then overnight they'll fall into the low 40s.  Wednesday's weather will be wonderful as well, but highs get bumped up a little bit into the upper 60s.

A strong cold front will slip through the area early Thursday. In it's wake, temps will nose-dive fast, with maximum readings on Thursday struggling to reach 60.  Then, over the weekend, we'll wake up around freezing Saturday morning then fall into the subfreezing zone Sunday and Monday morning with lows in the upper 20s.  Weekend highs will average in the mid 50s.
