WEATHER SUMMARY
A cold front begins to slide in from the west early this afternoon bringing loud storms to the region. Rain will be heavy at times, with a few strong storms possible. We could even see an isolated severe storm, afternoon readings will reach the low 70s.
Rain chances taper off tomorrow morning with the cold front lifting north by the afternoon as a warm front. That move puts us in the warm sector once again resulting in warmer and drier conditions both days this weekend. Daytime highs will be flirting with 80 both Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
That same front shifts south on Monday, bringing more showers to the area. The bulk of the wet weather will be north of I-65, closest to the front. It finally exits the region next Wednesday, so it's gonna take it's sweet time leaving the Coast.
We'll stay in the mid to upper 70s today through next Tuesday. Some cooler air slowly filters in by late next week.
