We enjoyed a series of days with mid-upper 70 degree weather.  However, all that is about to come to an end.  A strong cold front will move across our area on Monday afternoon...bringing scattered showers & storms with it.  There is a slight risk for severe weather for areas north of I-10 on Monday...so, stay up-to-date with the weather throughout the day.

Otherwise, the big story with the front is the blast of colder air that'll move in behind it.  We'll go from 70s Monday to 50s by Tuesday...and 30s by Wednesday morning. Because we've had such a long spell of above average temps, this chill will seem extra cold because we haven't experienced it in a little while.  So, keep the bigger coat on stand-by.

As we know, Gulf Coast weather changes often...so, yes...it'll be back into the upper 60s by the end of the week.

Take Care,
Meteorologist Deitra Tate
