After a dry day today, more rain will move into our area for Friday...primarily late afternoon thru late evening. The rain will be affiliated with an area of low pressure that's going to move into our area out of the Western Gulf. Rainfall estimates of 1-2 inches are possible with this sytem, and severe weather is not a big concern...but isoalted severe weather isn't ruled out. Highs for Friday reach near 60 degrees.
In the wake of that system, cooler weather moves in for the weekend...but, it'll be rain free. Highs for the weekend will stay in the 50s. Then for New Year's Eve, the cloud cover will increase with isolated showers possible New Year's Eve night. The showers will turn into steady rain by New Year's Day as another storm system moves in.
