High pressure has control of our weather today!  That means a stable atmosphere with a mix of sun & clouds for this Friday.  Highs should reach the low 60s, but a stubborn low cloud deck is slow to erode. This will hinder afternoon highs for areas under the cloud canopy if it fails to burn off.

By this afternoon, a SE wind will begin to prevail as the ridge of High Pressure moves away.  That southerly component to the wind will lead to an increase in humidity...which means warmer temps (especially overnight thru Saturday morning).  Lows will stay around 50 degrees tonight.  Another reason for the warmer night is due to the increase in cloud cover.  Clouds start to roll in from the west by later this evening...leading to a cloudy start to your Saturday.

Regardless of the clouds, temps will still be able to reach the 70s for Saturday.  For Sunday, it will remain warm...but rain will move in by the afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front.  The rain will stick around thru Monday morning...until the cold front crosses.  Very cold air will NOT come in behind the front...but, it will be a little cooler with 60s expected for Tuesday.    Yet, we're back in the 70s again by midweek.

Enjoy the weekend!
