High pressure will have a firm grip on our weather for the next several days.  This will lead to days filled with sunshine and highs remaining at or above average thru the at least Saturday.  Expect temps in the upper 50s for Thursday morning. By the afternoon, temps will reach the low-mid 80s with fabulous sunshine!   Mid-upper 80s take over for Friday and the weekend.

Sunday into early next week, an onshore flow will dominate ahead of the next cold front that looks to push into our area on Monday.   With sufficient moisture in place, the cold front will be able to squeeze out a few showers for the start of the week.

Tropics:
Watching two tropical disturbances, and both are looking better organized.  One is near the Bahamas, and the other is just east of the Lesser Antilles.  Either could become a tropical depression over the next 48 hours, but for now...it doesn't look like their going to be a direct threat to us.  However, they do need to be watched...and if we see any changes, we'll be sure to let you know.

Take Care,
Meteorologist Deitra Tate
