Tonight through Thursday afternoon looks dry. It will be chilly tonight under clear skies with lows in the 30s. Highs Wednesday will be cooler in the mid to upper 50s. Clouds will increase late in the day as another storm system approaches from the west. Rain will begin moving into the area late Thursday bringing a good chance of showers and storms Thursday night into Friday. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible and there is a low-end threat of severe storms early Friday.

A cold front will stall across the area into the first part of the weekend keeping rain chances high through Saturday. By Sunday, however, the front will push offshore taking the rain with it. Early next week will start dry, but more rain chances will return by the middle of the week. Temperatures beginning Thursday will warm back to around 70, with the warmest day being Friday with low to mid 70s. The location of the front this weekend will dictate who stats mild and who experiences cooler conditions. North of the front, across inland areas temperatures will be cooler into the 60s, while areas near the coast, south of the front will likely stay in the 70s through Sunday.
