It's going to be another cool morning across the Gulf Coast as temps drop to near 50 degrees. The average morning low for this time of year is around the mid-50s...so, temps will be slightly cooler than normal.
Sunday afternoon, expect a beautiful day with sunny skies and highs reaching the lower 80s. Actually, this is a tad bit above normal as average afternoon highs should be in the upper 70s. Our nice weather will be courtesy of a ridge of high pressure that's going to sit over the Southeast...keeping our weather delightful.
Next week looks great for most of the week as high pressure will continue to ridge into our Region. However, it starts to weaken by Friday ahead of a cold front that's going to move our way. So, there will be a slight chance for a shower on Friday afternoon...with a better chance of rain Saturday as the previously mentioned cold front moves in by Saturday evening. Until then...enjoy the weather!
**Tropics**
There is the potential for "Sally" to develop as there is a disturbance in the Caribbean that's further organizing. For now, it doesn't look to be a threat to our area...we'll keep you posted.
