The forecast for the next couple of days looks cooler and mostly quiet. Skies will become mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the 40s. The day will start with clouds Wednesday as a disturbance moves south of the area. This upper level disturbance may also bring a couple of showers to the region on Wednesday, mainly across northwest Florida, but moisture is lacking with this system. Most of the rain will stay well south of the area, near a stalled front that moved through the region late Monday.
Skies will clear Wednesday night, with a return to sunshine for Thursday. Temperatures will remain in the mid 60s for highs Thursday afternoon, then inch into the upper 60s on Friday ahead of the next storm system. The aforementioned front will lift back northward as a warm front. High rain chances will accompany the front, especially along and north of it through Saturday afternoon. Outdoor plans look wet for Saturday, with a few showers/storms lingering into Sunday, although Sunday's rain chances will be much lower. Temperatures over the weekend will warm significantly, with 60s for overnight lows and highs around 80.
Dry weather returns Sunday afternoon through early next week, with cooler weather filtering in by Monday.
