Sunny skies and highs in the 80s can be expected through Friday. Other than slightly higher humidity each day...there will be no real sensible changes in the weather. This weekend is when things get interesting. A strong cold front will head toward the area by Saturday. A shower or storm is possible with the front, but as has been the case with the past few fronts, widespread rain is not expected. Behind the front, breezy and cooler conditions can be expected with highs in the 70s on Saturday afternoon into Sunday. Some areas Sunday will barely get out of the 60s. The coolest nights will be Saturday night and Sunday night, where some upper 30s will be possible well inland and low 40s closer to I-10. This is preliminary, but these temperatures may need to be adjusted upward or downward as the weather pattern in question evolves and develops. We'll keep you posted!
